What glamping is
The word is a blend of glamour and camping. It's a holiday in nature without a tent or a sleeping bag: you stay in your own cabin with a shower, a kitchen and a proper bed, and the forest begins right outside the door.
A‑Ferma was one of the first places to offer this kind of stay near Moscow. We're in the Orekhovo‑Zuyevo district, near the village of Avsyunino, 100 km from the Moscow Ring Road.
The cabins
The A‑frame cabins stand in the forest, well apart from one another. The front wall is glass, so you can see the trees from almost anywhere inside. The bedroom is upstairs under the roof. Every cabin has its own terrace, grill and hammock. For how many there are, how they differ and what they cost, see the home page.
“It's worth knowing what this place is about: not parties and loud music, but quiet, unhurried rest in seclusion, usually with someone you love or with family.”
Water, sauna and forest
The cabins stand by the dammed Volnaya river. There's a pier, a free boat and paddleboards, and a skating rink in winter. On the shore is the sauna with a hot tub. Guests get free bikes in summer and skis in winter.
The farm and our own food
What sets A‑Ferma apart is its own farm. Cows, horses, goats, geese and chickens live next to the cabins, and it's hard to drag the kids away from them. The cafe cooks with our own milk, curd cheese, cheese and eggs, and you can buy them to take home.
All year round
The cabins have underfloor heating, so winter stays are comfortable. Summer means boats, bikes and swimming; winter means skis, skating and a sauna after the frost. Every cabin has Wi‑Fi.
